This forum has been set up to provide a worldwide opportunity to share and record technical and historic information on the complete range of de Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunk aircraft. Even those of us who have spent a long time with the aeroplane are still learning. It is amazing how there is someone, somewhere in the world, who can provide the answer to the question that is bothering you. The objective is to help both those new to the machine and those with long experience.
Many will recall the Caledonian Chipmunks Forum which for several decades was THE exchange for technical information. The Chipmunk Technical Forum is intended to go, at least part way, to filling the void left by the closure of Caledonian Chipmunks.
To use the forum you must register, but registration is open to all interested in the machine: Owners, Pilots, Engineers, Restorers and Old Aeroplane Enthusiasts. Your registration request will be reviewed by an Administrator, before you can access the material and make posts.
